Traveled up north all the way up to Jaffna a number of times this year. Mainly due to the work I was doing for the Jaffna Music Festival along with Asvajit. The bus ride there is long and it generally sucks (the bus broke) . But Jaffna is really amazing. The war there was ridiculous and shouldn't have never happened.
I only have fond memories of the place but there was that first bit at the start where we all went insane due to lack of food and water.
